HEATHER
WINKELJOHN
Heather Winkeljohn is the Founder and CEO of IncredAble Adaptive MMA. She has over 15 years of experience working with children having worked as an in-home Developmental Therapist for at risk children and children with disabilities ages birth to three and as English as a Second Language middle school teacher.
Heather is the author of On Autumn’s Wing, a book that recounts the events that lead up to her daughter’s traumatic birth that resulted in a brain injury and how their family has overcome the challenges presented by that injury. With her husband Mike, Heather currently owns and operates the world renowned Jackson Wink MMA Academy, and one-of-a-kind Smart Girl Self Defense™ Program, designed for Girls and Women where they can learn practical sell defense skills and fitness training. Heather also operates the Jackson Wink MMA Academy’s Nutrition Education program where she provides nutrition education to an array of people. Heather and Mike live in Albuquerque, NM with their two daughters.
Heather holds a Bachelor degree in Teaching from the College of Santa Fe, a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Bachelor degree of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico.

Jackson Wink MMA Academy has been voted as a #1 MMA Camp in the world for many years. It is here that Coaches Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn created something truly unique and took the sport of MMA to a totally different level.
Utilizing all that success, we are able to teach our local community and our students what it takes to succeed, having the right mind set, and how to become a strong person, phisycally and mentally.
